I began practicing yoga in 1994 while living in Los Angeles, struggling
to become an actress. What began as a purely physical endeavour evolved into something deeper and more substantial. What attracted
me to the performing arts is the same thing that draws me towards yoga. It is a very tangible way for me to feel connected,
within myself and amongst others, and thus, to feel my life more acutely as I live it. I offer up my classes in a non-intimidating
atmosphere with a pragmatic and fun approach, seeking those qualities that we are all after--peace, calmness, strength and
the years, I have had the great fortune to study with some outstanding teachers. Most recently with Nico Luce and Chris Chavez
(with whom I received my 200 hour Yoga teacher certification). I am so thrilled to be paying it forward!
While my class is not a beginner level, new students are most welcome. I teach Power
and Vinyasa Flow, with lots of options honouring individual ability. Within the structure of correct alignment and the ease
of the breath work, I promise you an open, safe environment where you can connect, sweat and have a laugh or two. I look
forward to being a part of your journey.
